Taking part in Veganuary has never been easier!
As we creep further and further into January, are you loving your experience of plant-based or missing the animal products you used to enjoy?
If it’s the latter, we can point you in the right direction! It’s never been easier or more convenient to try plant-based. Right now all of the supermarkets have extensive vegan ranges from Marks & Spencer to Morrisons, there are plant-based options for every budget. And they’re amazing!
Marks & Spencer have just launched Plant Kitchen, a huge range of plant-based ready meals, including “fish” cakes, dirty fries, jackfruit pizza and more. With coleslaw and potato salad on the side, and dairy and meat alternatives for making your own plant-based recipes, you can’t go wrong! They’ve also expanded their “Food on the Move” range to include many more vegan lunch options. We’re excited to try the sweet potato biryani wrap and the cauliflower popcorn bites!
Waitrose also recently expanded their vegan options with their own brand of VEGAN ready meals such as mushroom carbonara and hoisin jackfruit parcels. You can also pick up their soya bolognese or creamy pasta sauce with spinach ravioli for an easy midweek dinner.
Sainsbury’s and Morrisons also have a wonderful selection of meals and ingredients like sweet potato katsu curry, chorizo style shroom dogs and “Jack” quarter pounders in their Love Your Veg! and V Taste ranges.
And Tesco too have the ever popular Wicked Kitchen range, recently expanded to include even more sandwiches, salads, dips, ready meals and desserts.
So, this Veganuary really doesn’t have to be much of a challenge at all!
If you’re wanting to create a vegan recipe but you’re not sure where to start, check out Love Veg or Veganuary’s recipe pages or simply try googling “vegan X”. There are so many great vegan bloggers and recipe sites out there now, you are sure to find what you’re looking for.
